My new Twitter friend Tom Watson (UK Labour MP and Parliamentary Secretary at the Cabinet Office until his resignation in June this year) has drawn my attention to a blog in the UK House of Lords titled Lords of the Blog.
It’s a cross parliamentary blog, so the politicians are not all from the same party, which is interesting. So we are not alone. But we’re still unique.
That’s interesting.
Greetings from Britain. I was pointed towards this blog by Lord Norton of Louth, who gave mention of it in the blog to which you link. He is a very erudite chap and if you ever wish to know anything about the history of British politics, give him a bell.
I see you also have a Labour Party. I do hope your one hasn’t undergone a wholesale abandonment of socialism as ours has. We’ve had a Labour government for 12 years and they have yet to even re-nationalize the railway system. As for Mr Watson, his resignation was part of a failed coup d’etat attempt to bring down the Prime Minister.
Best wishes, keep up the good work. Yours is a beautiful country.
Yeah keep up the good work
