So Next... when is West Papua to be released from Indonesian control too? The 1969 vote by West Papuans to determine their future was controlled by Indonesia!! NOT the United Nations. It was a cruel farce. Allowing a stone age culture to be placed under brutal Indonesian military control has been a callous and tragic disaster for the West Papuans who have no ethnic connection with Indonesia, Any dissent is dealt with contempt and gross brutality .
