So, Trevor, what are your personal views about cannabis? Do you think it may be time to decriminalise the class C drug? Or are you totally opposed to the decriminalisation of marijuana?
Anything to make a buck a Don Brash. Pity John Banks (gee you couldn’t make these names up) wants power more than money right now.
Trevor, just a warning. Those videos aren’t authorised and are using the Labour party font. You are publishing it on a Labour party blog.
John Banks should not be in the ACT Party. Dumb mistake from Brash.
@ Richard: What is your personal view on cannabis? Do you think 400,000 new zealanders are criminals who should be locked up, or do you think the law is idiotic?
Im sitting on the fence on this one!!!
Labour won’t raise the age of Super.
Nek minnit.
National wont raise GST .
Nek Minnit
surely today’s big story is the Nats’ lie about the “public” audience in their broadcast. Sadly for their spin, dim Young Nats have been online boasting about appearing in it!
Love to hear what Labpour MP’s think about the decriminalisation of cannabis.
Sadly no Labour MP wants to talk about it.
I would like to see ACT decriminalised.
Goff says Labour has “balls”. Show us them, Phil. What’s the socially liberal party’s view on decriminalising cannabis for personal use?
A non-evidence based/moral/political expediency approach is the only interpretation of both labour and national’s views towards cannabis that can be made.
The enforcement approach of these laws are racist, classist, and ageist; with Maori, other minorities, poorer people and the young disproportionately affected by the current position.
This is a very sad contrasting position given labour’s views towards inequality in other spheres in NZ.
Not supporting the decriminalisation, ie. that one ought not get a criminal conviction for possession of small amounts of cannabis for personal use, is a position I just cannot understand in a free and just society.
It’s the issue that really makes me struggle to be labour, when I know the greens, though not actively making it a point this election, at least have decriminalisation as a policy.
Nick K “Goff says Labour has “balls”. Show us them, Phil.”
This is a civilized country buddie, we don’t go round getting our private parts out in public just because some right wing dude dares us to.
@ Curious: “Love to hear what Labpour MP’s think abuot the decrimenalisation of canabis.”
I’d love to hear what jonkey thinks about building more prisons to hold all the 400,000 cannabis smokers in NZ? But he doesn’t want to talk about that either!
Brash 4 Hash!
^^
You might say he’s making a hash of it
Or
You might say it’s a way to get high in the polls!

So you’ve descended to threats have you Whaleoil? Typical response from the under-ground sewer inhabited by National’s crooks.
@ Andrew
I completely agree with you.
@Anne – A party can own a font now?
Why someone might steal away sans serif!
No, not comic sans!
Hey, wait, don’t take away Times New Roman, great, now I can’t …
