1. Who is this guy?
2. At whose funeral were arrangements made?
3. Who was the matchmaker?
4. How much did Brash pay and who funded it?
5. Was support for Joyce part of the agreement?
ps. Might end up being more than twenty questions at the rate the tips are coming in.

Trev, who is the woman who is hidden (and why?)
I don’t know who she is. I know of nothing she has done wrong and therefore don’t think she needs to be outed for being with these two evil characters. Trevor
Hey Trev ,who is the woman?
That guy is the husband of don’t go there in this site please. Trevor
Great questions but I do not know any answers other than the guy at the top seems to be the same one as in Part ll. The woman seems cuddly and the same in both pics. I Give in!
Would the funeral be that of Judith Kirks husband ?
Sometimes Trevor, being a blogger and being one of your party’s most senior MP’s isn’t compatible. Red Alert is supposed to be Labour’s OFFICIAL means of communicating with supporters and opponents. Your “About” tag says:
You’re making it more like NZ Truth, a low-rent scandal rag. I don’t believe that this does either yourself or the NZLP any credit, but then again, I won’t be voting for you anyway.
Just sayin’ …
So the right doesn’t like the truth………..just sayin’….. Trevor
This is, without doubt, one of the saddest and most ridiculous posts you have done, Trevor.
Mate, you are an idiot. If all Labour has is slander and smear campaigns then things are worse than I thought.
I think you are referring to the NACT infighting in today’s paper not this post which neither slanders nor smears. Trevor
Come on Trevor, shouldnt you be posting about all the great work your caucus members are getting up to like Lynne Pillay, Rick Barker, Rajan Prasad etc… What about a post about why Labour will win Otaki with their great new candidate? These posts are just pretty sad
I feel Hollow Men No.2 coming on. Simon Lusk appears to be a key (no pun intended) player. He was some sort of intermediary between the Exclusive Brethren and the National Party in 2005.
I would love to read Hollow Men 2!!!!!
!
@ invenTORY2:
Given the ‘celebritisation’ of the Prime Ministerial office by the ‘Prime Mincer’ you protest too much.
The ‘20 questions’ posts might somewhat mimic the tabloid but an important trail is being revealed for those of us that would like to know what is wriggling around under the surface of our nations parliamentary politics.
Be careful what you wish for True Wheel; things “wriggling around under the surface” is not the sole preserve of the right.
First time poster.
I note in your other thread Trevor, you posted:
“I don’t have family/personal stuff on here.”
Are you able to see your own hypocrisy? You are the one politician in Parliament I have the least respect for.
Were any parliamentary funds (also known as my tax dollars) used to produce this disgusting post? Mr Mallard, since I am a taxpayer, I pay your salary, please spend your time helping to lift this country out of it’s slide into poverty rather than wallowing around posting slime.
You disgust me.
No parliamentary funds. And the person most likely to put more people into poverty is Brash and his policies which failed in the 1980s and 1990s. And I’m not sure what the slime is here. Trevor
Banned. And I am pretty pissed with you given the protection I’ve given Brash today. Trevor
The question I want to know the answer to is “who is responsible for that carpet”?
That carpet sure is hideous!
Deleted offensive. Trevor
You describe these two men, Simon Lusk and Don Brash as “evil characters” Trevor. It also sounds like hush money might be involved? I have the impression that senior National MPs (including the PM) and some party hacks are a bit edgy these days. I presume all will be revealed soon?
It seems Trevor you have struck a chord with some of the right wing commenters. The question they should be asking is who is giving you the information and the photos and what is their motivation. This all points to Brash’s takeover of ACT and obviously someone on the inside considers that things are not right.
The takeover itself should be debated because our next Parliament may depend on a possibly rejuvinated ACT providing support to National. Therefore the resources used and the persons behind the takeover should be exposed to the light of day.
It feels a bit like bit like Hollow Men II. Are they suggesting that Hollow Men I had no relevance for New Zealand politics?
I look forward to the next five questions. And I am keen to hear what Joyce was promised.
No Mickey, the question is and always has been, what is the labour policy and direction for the next few terms????????
Bloody silence is the answer.
I want some answers instead of the poop flinging and gutter politics.
Helen is gone thank God..the party needs to move on and have a purpose, something that is sadly lacking at this time.
The next five questions are
1. what is labour policy?
2. what is labour policy?
3. what is labour policy?
4. what is labour policy?
5. what is labour policy?
And lofty because we are a party with ideals and organised by policy wonks you will see plenty as the year progresses. You might even like some of it but given some of your offensive comments I don’t really care.
I want to know why the chick that looks like the barmaid on Coro from when I was a young fulla’s giving me the finger in the bottom picture?!
Don Brash cracks me up. This is at a party, right? Thats Don Brash in party mode? Wicked.
@lofty 08:59 pm
…and you still pour out the bile towards Helen Clark. The vitriol she had to endure from the likes of you was sickening. Just remember it was your “champion” blogs that did the photoshopping. You might reflect on the Collins/Hide character assassination of Benson-Pope. So the home of gutter politics was well and truly created by the opposition during the last government…
As for policy releases in 2008 – Joky Hen’s meme was “all in good time” from memory.
There are seven posts on this thread that have been altered and deleted. That is what I would consider the stiffling of free speech and goes against the core priciples of Labour. Why does there have to be so much cenorship in what is a blog run by and for what is supposed to be a political party that stands for the principles of Democratic Socialism?
I agree with lofty. This is real mud-slinging, gutter politics at its worst. I once considerd myself a life-long Labour supporter but the more I visit this site the more I feel that Labour have forgotten who they are and who they are supposed to support.
Then ask your employers to be relieved of your job commenting here. And if you are not paid just read Kiwiblog and feel happier. Trevor
Almost funny, but she would have grounds for defamation action being linked in that way. Trevor
Deleted offensive. Ban next time. Trevor
Just some guesses Trevor.
1. Who is this guy?
Simon Lusk?
2. At whose funeral were arrangements made?
Rodney Hide’s
3. Who was the matchmaker?
Steven Joyce
4. How much did Brash pay and who funded it?
Alan Gibbs funded it, along with the Usual suspects.
5. Was support for Joyce part of the agreement?
Yep. They needed a shake up man who was one of Brash’s 2005 Hollow men right on the inside of cabinet to back ACT policies from the National side.
Especially since Brash’s rise will be at Bill English’s expense, Joyce really is a natural ally.
Obviously, just guesses.
Sorry for answer 4. I couldn’t get that link to connect to the Radio New Zealand story from last week, no matter what I tried.
Anyway, in an interview, Don Brash said ACT was getting funding from the ‘usual suspects’, who sound like the Hollow Men.
Your fondness for censorship of conflicting viewpoints is noted Trevor.
That’s nonsense Murray. Conflicting view points get plenty of play on this site.
It is only when a post is actually offensive or slanderous it gets deleted.
The most important question is…whose blood is that on the floor? And who tried to clean it up? Obviously someone without the skills to do their own cleaning.
C’mon then smarty pantses, please list National policy prior to election 08 and a list of those policies which have been implemented. I’ve been able to find ACT’s but not National’s.
I’ve also been able to find quite a bit of labour policy, but then I was actually looking, no such luck when actually looking for National’s.
National had a policy vacuum – the only things they have actually created (in a positive sense) is a jigsaw puzzle bike track, and if you are a CEO or similar, you are better off.
In hindsight I owe you an apology Trevor, frustration got the better of me and I am better than that mostly.
I withdraw and apologise unreservedly.
