Had a few requests for pictures. Above screws plates pins in femur and below scan of a well broken scapular.
Four weeks now. Recovery going pretty well though still need twice the sleep I normally did. Pain still there but taking fewer of the more serious killers.
And yes I want to get back on the bike.

For the first time ever I have sympathy got you. ( not that you are the sort of person who would want sympathy). I do hope you recover quickly so that you can put up a decent fight in the election.
Having said in a previous post you get grumpy after after no exercise for three days, are you now unbearable?
“Dem bones dem bones gonna walk around, dem bones dem bones gonna walk around”
Best wishes for a continued speedy recovery Trevor.
Eeeeeeeuuuuuuwwwwww!!!!!!
That looks very, very painful. All the best with the recovery.
Yeah, I felt kinda queasy looking at that myself.
My sympathy Trev and I hope you get better so that you can bike and stuff too.
Aw,
, come here … *BOOF*
I shouldnta tried that!
Get well soon.
Actually a ‘scapular’ is a monastic cloth , perhaps reaching the knees, suspended from both back and shoulders.
Have you taken Holy orders Trev ?
Then again a scapula is a shoulder bone
In a first, DomPost today (not online) compares Trev to a flamingo.
Pink? Trev? (Yes, this is on topic, the Dom mentions the breaks.)
That second photo, Trevor, You’re looking a bit thin!
A get well wish from someone who has almost completed his healing process. I understand the need for sleep, and extra nutrition.
And extra pink feathers to reinforce his down.
This post, and its material, again underline Labour’s political irrelevance.
Then don’t bother reading or commenting. We are happy with our growth of viewers and views. Losing you worries me not one jot.
Trevor, should you have cropped the the x-ray to protect your, er, privacy?
Grant, he’ll not find that humerus.
he’s ‘armless enough
I think that is actually worse than x-rays I’ve seen of “zipper club” members and the way their rib-cages are held together.
Thanks for the pics. I’m always keen to learn new stuff….
