New candidates, new pages, worth watching

Posted by on January 29th, 2011

It is going to be an interesting year for how candidates use social media. I blog a bit here and have fun with my 5000 Facebook friends. But some people do these things really well.

Have a look here to see how David Clark who will be the next MP for Dunedin North has an interesting page. And tick “like” to keep following.

Have to say not many of the new Labour MPs impress me all that much but this chap seems like a good one. He looks like one that could go far within Labour and he seems genuinely nice! – Always a plus.

What are you ??? A politician or a Child??? “Oh look at me I have 5000 friends on Facebook”

Whoop de doo How about you stop playing at Farcebook and get into to doing that what you were elected to do. Try to WIN, or KEEP your seat, or have you listened to all the propaganda that’s out there, that says you have not got a snowballs chance in hell??

But that’s okay as you have your 5000 Acquaintances? nope more like Sheeple who just click ‘like’ just because you told them to. So stop playing at politics and figure out are you going to be a politician or are you going to play on farcebook for the next 3 years??

Some comments here are a little bit unfair but it’s true that Facebook is a mindless and pervasive evil.

And these Idiots that think that these sites are better to spread your message one little bit at a time. So much better to Ban farcebook , Twatter, Lost Space, And all these other so called Social networks From Politicians Full Stop. And to All you happy farcebook users out there do you really think your info is safe?? And I also laugh like hell cos users get drunk, say “my Boss is crap” then Bitch and Moan they loose their jobs..

Deadly, please don’t pop Trev’s bubble. If Trev likes his 5000 friends (not including Me) then that is his business. This post is more about the new fresh faces Labour are trying to rebuild with. David Clark is the future of labour. Of course the biggest problem is that there are too few new faces. The existing and multi-term MPs refuse to move on and that is a contributing factor to their low polling. Really what labour needs and Goff is the man to deliver is a complete thrashing in the upcoming election which will give a full clean out of the tired and jaded front to benches.

Monty you really asleep this time.
There are new labour Mps everywhere, there is Kris in Mana who you love so much. Hawkins is going, and there will be a new Mp for Wigram. And we had replacements for Clark and Cullen very early on. have you forgotten those . You are really getting forgetful.
It hardly counts as renewal when you have 2 MPs resign in disgrace.
