On Thursday evening at 8.30pm, I will be hosting a discussion with other members of the Labour Finance team about the Budget. This will be filmed and streamed live at: http://labour.org.nz/budget2010
There will be the ability for those watching to chat with others around New Zealand who are also tuned in. We will be monitoring the comments and will hopefully be able to answer some of your questions during the session.
If this works well, then we hope to turn it into a regular feature.
If you’d like to be automatically reminded prior to the event just fill in your email below.
Cool idea
David, will this also at a later date be available on this, Labour home site or another site? As you can appreciate there will be quite a number of interesting sites giving their impressions on the budget so to refer to this discussion at a time that suits others would be quite valuable.
Great idea I hope all goes well.;0
I like the idea. Good luck. One day when I have broadband and not dial up I’ll join in but love the idea.
Hi A Mother
Great idea. You deserve credit for this.
A mother, perhaps there will be an audio link so you can listen, if not perhaps the tecnos could set this up tto capture as wider an audience as possable
And I’m sure there will be lots of posts written for you to comment on.
audio link will still have to be streamed, but could download later
. Sigh. I remember the days of broadband.
I loved it, but at least I have access to internet and red alert. It might distract me from my assignments anyway.
Hi Spud.
Great idea.
Innovative. Definitely put it out far and wide on the blogosphere, Facebook, twitter etc.
Thanks for the feedback folks. @ Herodotus, i will come back with details on later access etc shortly.
D.C. I see in the NZ Herald that you had a fun day in the House on Tuesday

Coming back on the access questions: Live access is by webchat or streaming. Both wil be recorded and available for later viewing on line. Should be an interesting day. Let us know in advance your likely key question areas if you’d like and we may be able to bring other spokespeople along.
