    Good idea :-)

  2. Herodotus says:

There are some councils within the greater Auckland area who believe that 750mm is adequate space for a cycle lane, and this measurement is taken from the kerb, within roading that according to town and traffic planners are to accommodate 5-10k traffic movements a day!
So compared to this 1.5m appears generous, but both convey to me that our planners/policy providers do not possess something that is increasing becomming extinct … “Common Sense”

The idea of cycling even in a cycle lane on a busy road is nuts to me Trevor.

I know we have fabulous road cyclists in NZ with their tight little….. but the sport is insane. As is riding a bike in the city.

I used to live on a rural road with an incredible stretch of straight road and thinking back about the craziest thing in life I did before I discovered a love of binge drinking and business lunches, was riding the HMX-500 up and down that thing to school.
