Back Benches tonight

Posted by Trevor Mallard on September 9th, 2009

Real dilemma from 9.30 – Netball, back benches, back benches, netball? Maybe go to a room with two TVs or spilt screen.

Tonight on Back Benches

Wallace Chapman and the panel of MPs go head to head over the week’s hottest topics: Conservation week. John Key doing a stock-take of DoC land-should we getting the diggers warmed up? Plus, National is keeping a campaign promise to review the MMP policy. Join those lucky enough not to be chained to parliament under urgency at The Backbencher Pub tonight for a night of live pub politics.

The panel: Sue Kedgeley, David Parker, Cam Calder (the new Nat one) and Rahui Katene.

On TVNZ 7 (Freeview) and Sky 97 from 9pm. Also on line through TVNZ .

Netball’s not live in Australia… worried about back-to-back losses?

  5. Trevor Mallard says:

Hardly ever is – they not to good on women’s sport there. Also their camera work is often awful – because they do so little their camera people don’t have any sense of where the ball is likely to go.

Norma Plummer should stop sucking lemon lollies .. a face only a mother could love.
    I love her excuses.

  7. Paul Williams says:

They did show the first game live free-to-air and also show the trans-Tasman games (selection of) but couldn’t possibly disrupt an hour of Simpson reruns… I’ll listen online.

  8. Trevor Mallard says:

@ jabba – I will never forgive her for calling my favourite team scrubbers.
