Lockwood’s rehearsal

Thanks to Michael Morrissey for this [YouTube link] which was a threadjack in the comments.
Mike Moore was in the House one day and sung the song. It was broadcast through the Speaker’s live mike. I got the blame from lots of people who had never heard me sing.

Speaking of rehearsals, (sorry Trevor, I don’t want to threadjack you – but I need to get this out and Clare’s ‘magic moments’, while it speaks volumes in this context is too serious).
Did anyone see the news tonight? Key was asked a question while in Samoa: They should have made him practice before he left…………
I quote: “When asked whether he preferred Fijian or Samoan Kava, Mr Key’s response was perhaps telling of NZ’s stand:
“Ar, Well, um…It’s difficult to choose between children, even when one is behaving a little wayward right now”
If ever there was a time he needed Crosby-Textor with his opposable thumbs to script him – it was then………
Where do you begin with that: The patronising way he referred to the Pacific Island nations as his children?
The obvious – no answer to that – what was the question again? He’d have been better trying to pretend he wasn’t clever,
Now, if I was sitting in the Monteiths brewery and someone asked me if I preferred Montheiths or Speights – I would happily say “Monteiths, of course!” – common courtesy really.

Trevor thanks for this – as a geek who watches Question Time whenever I can, I have often wondered how any of you resisted the temptation to sing that, before now….
That was bleepin’ awesome!
